Hausofsparrow is led by Creative Director and founder Monica G. Karam, who brings her singular vision and extensive visual, UX and interactive design experience to each project, pushing each identity beyond mere visual aesthetics and form into relevant function and context, minus the fluff.

From the US to Beirut with time in Paris in between, Hausofsparrow’s founder, Monica G. Karam, has worked in-house at Jwalk NY, Plan-A Beirut, and &pizza, as well as in and around agencies on some category-agnostic challengers like The National Geographic Society, RTC (A Wunderman network agency) and Agenda Culturel Beirut.

With agency and client experiences across a range of industries including education, real estate, fashion, beauty, hospitality, luxury and publishing, she has had the opportunity to work with brands such as &pizza, Catch Hospitality, BareMinerals, KVD Beauty, Atelier-CV, Arthaus Beirut, One5Capital…and much more.

Monica’s extensive experience in print, UX and interactive design also informs her offline work and passion for illustration, textiles and surface design, which she is currently developing a line for in tandem with hausofsparrow, exploring different design mediums and processes.
